Dry with warm sunshine. Turning more unsettled on Sunday.
Today:
Another pleasant and dry day after early fog clears. Cloud again lingering along southern coasts, but plenty of warm sunshine inland with light winds and temperatures above the April average. Maximum Temperature 20C.
Tonight:
Remaining dry and settled this evening with length clear spells to start the night. Turning cloudier by dawn with a few showers in the far west of Cornwall. Minimum Temperature 6C.
Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:
Turning more changeable with showers, heavy at times and longer spells of rain, especially on Tuesday, interspersed by some bright spells. Often breezy and becoming less warm.
UK Outlook for Tuesday 15 Apr 2025 to Thursday 24 Apr 2025:
Much more mixed weather conditions than of late, with low pressure systems and their associated areas of rain and showers often affecting the UK. The rain is likely to be heavy at times, and the showers, most frequently affecting western areas, will also be heavy and blustery in places, with isolated small hail and thunder. There will also be some brighter, drier spells in between rain and showers, although probably large amounts of cloud too, with limited sunshine. Unsettled, wet, and occasionally windy conditions are most likely during the first few days of this period; beyond this, and certainly into the following week, there is an increasing chance that cooler, northerly winds could develop, followed by a less unsettled spell. Temperatures mostly around average for the time of year.
