Dry but often rather cloudy this weekend.

A chilly and largely cloudy start this morning with any mist and fog clearing. Becoming brighter with the best of the sunshine in western areas this afternoon. Turning a little breezier with temperatures close to the early February average. Maximum Temperature 8C.
Tonight:
Clear spells for some this evening but skies generally turning cloudy overnight. Staying generally dry and turning a bit breezier. Temperatures remaining largely above freezing. Minimum Temperature 3C.
Outlook for Monday to Wednesday:
Cloud breaking, then brighter on Monday, but isolated showers are possible. Cloudy on Tuesday with rain overnight, then fine and bright on Wednesday. Rather mild and windy at times.
UK Outlook for Wednesday 5 Feb 2025 to Friday 14 Feb 2025:
It is likely to be much more settled across the much of the UK at first with plenty of clear or sunny spells, and whilst some rain is likely at times, there is likely to be plenty of dry weather through this period. Winds will generally be lighter and this will bring the risk of overnight frost and fog to many central and southern parts. Towards the end of this period there is a greater chance of unsettled conditions returning, especially in the north and west of the UK whilst southeastern parts more likely to be drier. Overall, temperatures will be close to normal for most, but it is likely to be mild at times in the northwest. Brief colder spells are likely here in between weather systems though.
