Another dry, sunny day
Today:
After some early fog or frost patches clear away, it will be another dry and mild day with unbroken sunshine nearly everywhere. Still feeling cooler near the North Sea coast, locally warm in the southwest. Maximum Temperature 18C.
Tonight:
Late sunshine and then clear skies in the evening, before cloud spreads into the east through the night. Some areas of frost may form in southwest where skies stay clearer. Minimum Temperature 2C.
Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:
Staying dry and feeling warm with sunny spells on Thursday. Dry and largely bright or sunny on Friday and Saturday, but cloudier in the southwest.
UK Outlook for Sunday 13 Apr 2025 to Tuesday 22 Apr 2025:
A transition from the fine and settled conditions most will have seen is expected through this period. This will most likely come in the form of a cold front progressing southeast bringing some rain and showers and fresher conditions. There is a low risk of heavier, possibly thundery showers coming into the country from the south for a time early in the period, but confidence in this aspect of the forecast is low and these may well pass to the east. This heralds a wetter period through the middle of April with showers or longer spells of rain at times, which could be heavy and thundery in places. Strong winds could develop in some areas, particularly the south and west. Temperatures are likely to return closer to normal.
