Staying generally cloudy this weekend, but sunnier early next week.
This Evening and Tonight:
Drizzle in places this evening and overnight, this most persistent in parts of Devon and Cornwall. Largely dry but generally cloudy skies elsewhere. Fairly mild but cooler in eastern counties. Breezy at first in western coastal regions, otherwise light winds. Minimum Temperature 7C.
Saturday:
Another predominantly cloudy day and whilst dry for many, possibly rather damp in south Devon and Cornwall with drizzly rain at times. Chilly in eastern counties, milder in the west. Maximum Temperature 13C.
Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:
Occasionally damp on Sunday but brighter and milder at times. Temperatures returning to average early next week. Mainly dry and much brighter with sunny spells. Frost and fog possible overnight.
UK Outlook for Wednesday 13 Nov 2024 to Friday 22 Nov 2024:
High pressure from early in the week likely reducing its influence during the middle of next week though to an uncertain degree. Likely turning cloudier again across many areas with a chance of showers or longer spells, most probable in parts of the north and east. Southwestern areas have the greatest chance of maintaining largely dry conditions. Temperatures around average but with a greater chance of mild conditions in the northwest and below average temperatures in the southeast. During next weekend and into the following week there are signs that the influence of high pressure will decline to the west. This means northern and eastern areas remain most likely to see more unsettled conditions. This also increases the likelihood of a spell of northerly winds and colder conditions.
