Fine with night frosts. Chance of fog.
This Evening and Tonight:
A cold, dry, and mostly clear Wednesday night with widespread frost and light winds. Areas of freezing fog are likely to develop by dawn. Probably breezier and perhaps cloudier towards the south coast with frost less likely here. Minimum Temperature -1C.
Thursday:
Mist and freezing fog clearing through the morning to give a dry day with plenty of long sunny spells, becoming breezy later towards the coast. Cold again overnight. Maximum Temperature 7C.
Outlook for Friday to Sunday:
Cold through this period with increasing cloud amounts and a strengthening easterly breeze. Increased risk of a few showery outbreaks of rain, or perhaps some wintry flurries.
UK Outlook for Monday 10 Feb 2025 to Wednesday 19 Feb 2025:
High pressure is expected to remain slow moving to the northeast of the UK. As a result, breezy winds across many areas are likely to come from the east or southeast, and cloud amounts are expected to increase as continental air is gradually drawn across the UK. Breezy winds and increased cloud amounts are expected to exacerbate the cold feel, with temperatures often below average. Although many places across the country will remain dry, southern and southwestern areas in particular may see some wintry precipitation at times. Overnight frost is likely to feature during this period, particularly where skies are clear, however where winds remain breezy this will decrease the overall risk of a hard frost forming.
