Overall, high pressure is expected to dominate bringing largely fine and dry conditions. Cloud amounts will be quiet variable, but some decent clear and sunny spells are likely. Northern and western areas are most likely to be the sunniest at first, with central and southeastern areas perhaps cloudier at times. Also cloudier at times across northern Scotland with perhaps some light rain. There is also a chance, albeit low, of showers developing across southern parts of England and Wales at times, especially from next weekend onwards. Temperatures are likely to be a little above normal, feeling pleasantly warm in the sunnier locations. Still rather chilly at night, with potential for ground frost at times in rural areas.
